ReSound introduces mini BTE that connects to internet
ReSound® introduced a new model to the award-winning ReSound LiNX2™ family: the world's only mini behind-the-ear (BTE) model to feature Made for iPhone. In addition, the mini BTE also features telecoil capabilities. ReSound LiNX2 is the world’s first internet-connected hearing aid, connecting to the internet to locate misplaced hearing aids. This new model enhances the award-winning ReSound Smart Hearing portfolio, giving users even more choices to meet individual preferences and hearing loss needs.
The launch of the ReSound LiNX2 mini BTE builds on ReSound’s successes at IFA 2016, world's leading trade show for consumer electronics, where the company recently participated to demonstrate its Smart Hearing solutions. During this year’s show in Berlin, ReSound was recognized as a leader in innovative hearing care technology, securing two new awards for its Smart Hearing solutions:
- UX Design Awards 2016 – Winner, ReSound Up Smart™ and ReSound Multi Mic™
- ShowStoppers @ IFA 2016, IHS Markit Innovation Awards – Health, Fitness and Wearables – Winner, ReSound
“We are proud again to be at the forefront of the hearing industry by creating the world’s only mini BTE hearing aid with Made for iPhone and telecoil capabilities,” said Anders Hedegaard, president and CEO of GN Hearing. “Once again, ReSound is bringing to market a solution that was not previously available to users.
